Nursery Care
Nursery care is available for children 3 years of age and younger during our second service each Sunday at 10:45am. Our staff of trained, caring volunteers have all had thorough background checks. It is also perfectly acceptable for children to stay and worship with their family!
Parents can also use the Family Sitting Room at the back of the sanctuary which is equipped with a speaker so you can hear the sermon. This is a great option for parents who want to remain with their child rather than putting them in the nursery class, but who don't want to be a distraction to others in the sanctuary. The Family Sitting Room has toys, rockers, a mini-crib, and a changing table.
What to Expect:
Look for the small table outside of the nursery door to sign your child in. This door is located through the family sitting room which is the first door on the left when you walk into the sanctuary. If your child is registered in our system, they will receive a name tag for their back with their information pre-printed. If your child is not registered in our system, the nursery volunteers will ask you to fill out a name tag for them with their name, your name, your contact information*, and any important information such as allergies. While in nursery, your child will receive a snack of cheerios or veggie straws. We ask that no outside food be consumed in the nursery due to possible food allergies of any of our children. At the end of the service, sign your child out of the nursery at the table.
*We use parent cell phones to communicate with parents in the event that they need to return to the nursery during the service. Please keep your cell phone on vibrate during the service in case we need to contact you.
During the Week:
Preschoolers are also welcome to join us during the week twice a month for Preschool Play Date. Find more info here.
