Ladies Handiwork Group
The Handwork Ministry meets every other Friday from 10:00 to 12:00. Our mission is to create handmade items that children or adults in our church family, community and even world-wide can benefit from. Our items are made with love and prayer. Our hats and scarves go into our church Operation Christmas Child boxes and to any children in our youth groups that may need one. We also make hats for children who have lost their hair to cancer. Our dish scrubbies go into the Food Pantry boxes with a written prayer. Our first prayer quilt has kept a lap warm during lonely hours of COVID quarantine. We call it a prayer quilt because each knot is tied with a prayer for the individual it was made for.
If you make something we can add to our giving or would like to learn to create something we currently make please come join us. All are welcome. Our fellowship includes prayer and socializing. Please join us in the Outreach Building. Contact Aleta with questions and check our church calendar page for exact meeting dates.
